Cut from a different cloth, Tim O’Reilly is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and content producer based in Hamilton, ON. A bass player by trade, he is a core member of CFMA-nominated string band, The Barrel Boys, and has been featured as a sideman for a number of other Toronto acts across various genres, including UKAE, The Peter Graham Band, The Andrew Collins Trio, The O’Pears, AHI, and Chloé Watkinson. His media company, SoundStill Production Inc., has produced content for some of Canada’s foremost musicians, presenters, and music organizations.

Tim's greatest strengths as an instrumentalist are bass and trumpet, though he's at home on a whole range of instruments, including piano, guitar, drums, banjo, mandolin, and didgeridoo. His writing runs a wide gamut stylistically, often blending folk idioms with the more contemporary influences of rock, pop, hip hop, r&b, and jazz. His tangential way of thinking lends itself to quirky lyrics wrought with mixed metaphors, garden path ideas, and curious new spins on old clichés. His love of levity and humour balance his capacity for gravity and solemnity, taking listeners on an emotional roller coaster that always leaves them wanting more.
